This may look like I am doing nothing much but in fact I am contemplating how Sir Francis Drake landed 6500 men here in 1569 in an attempt to capture the city of Lisbon which ultimately ended in failure. He was successful in taking Peniche, the town in the background, and he is also the acknowledged founder of the Consolaçáo beach bar...soon to be visited
