Rif Alpes des Tires

We left early in the morning not knowing where we'd find a bed next. Went back up the cone for morning view.

We went out to the tip of the dark green area in this photo on the advice of a family we met .

View out from there of the next range over... It goes on and on. So lucky with beautiful weather

Hard to show but this is on Murray s cross country shortcut back to the trail and has amazingly vertiginous cliffs down to valleys and villages below. The terrain is way steeper than it looks in photos.

As it turned out we stayed here at 

Alpes des Tires, only a couple of hours walk as our planned places were booked out...slept all afternoon! Went for a walk after dinner and found these beautiful Hafling horses that look just like Golden Palominos. They were very friendly and were jostling each other to be the one in the photo.
