One more day

Our time in New York is drawing to an end. It's been fun to be part of the buzz of this great city. There is such a mix of everything here....the diversity of nationalities gives a vibrancy with people gabbling on in their own languages ...English or at least English recognisable to our ears is relatively unusual to hear. This is a place at once futuristic and backward. History  is for the most part given no special favour. Life is lived for and of the moment... With an urgency that at times leaves you breathless and you feel yourself been unwittingly caught up by it like a twig swept into a tumultuous river. The jostling crowds never seem to thin...it is truly the city that never sleeps.
