As we approached Edinburgh on the train we craned our necks up to see the castle way up against the sky and Murray quoted

Which was a lovely entry into this beautiful city. The day we walked up Arthur's Seat it was brilliantly fine and we could look out over the city, surrounding fields and the sea. It was cool to have this huge rambling park area in the middle of the city. Went to a play near our house, The Pitman Painters, really  funny, an insight into an art appreciation class run in the 30's. Had our first day of rain.
