Day at Dia: Beacon
This was a wonderful day, i think my best art experience ever. Work from the 60's that I've read about but only seen photos of is shown in a stunning environment. The ideas come to life beautifully. An old box making factory with huge brick spaces, high stud with windows in the roof providing beautiful natural light. Huge old metal framed full height windows. Landscaped simply with huge meadows and grids of white flowering trees.
