Neat rows of houses for miles with little paths and steps running down between.
Spring flowers on every wall
A farmers market, delicious fare. We had lemon almond cake and chocolate Victoria sponge (sold by the slice) and took a wedge of chicken and ham pie with us. Felt like Famous Five Fare. And a sourdough loaf. We met the new mayor of St Ives displaying his official gold necklace for the first time. I also got instructions on how to make a real pasty.
Had the pie, yum then a sleep then ice creams. Crowds began to throng in. Massive seagulls. They swoop in so close you feel the wind on Your head which is quite startling. Murray: These seagulls are bastards!
