Mt Blanc first day...

Walking the  Mt Blanc circuit over the last 6 days has been fantastic! It is a magnificent range of mountains. We completed half of the circuit, from Chamonix to Courmayeur, so passed through the French and Italian sections. Anna and Jo have continued on to complete through Switzerland.

We trained down from Paris then took a bus up to Chamonix

Green rolling valleys look so innocent but     6 hours later we were 2500m up in the mountains

First night at Le Truc a family owned Refuge with fresh milk from their own herd. The cattle wear bells which are really loud!
